Sustainable Turkey Choices for the Holidays

This Thanksgiving, consider serving a sustainable turkey from Diestel Family Ranch. Available at Whole Foods Market, Diestel’s Pasture-Raised Turkeys are raised entirely on open, irrigated pastures and fed a diet of foraged plants, grasses and 100% vegetarian grains milled daily. They also play a crucial part in Diestel’s polyculture farming program, a traditional style of farming that uses agriculture to revitalize the land. Or, bring back a part of history with Diestel’s Organic American Heirloom Turkeys, which date back to the 1920s and combine old-world flavor with a wonderful yield of meat. For a fuss-free feast, Diestel also offers fully cooked turkeys, available in organic oven-roasted and naturally smoked.

The Boulder Creative Collective: Residency Pilot Program

We are pleased to announce that The Boulder Creative Collective is taking a giant leap forward with an application based Artist in Residence Program beginning November 1st – the first of its kind in Boulder. The BCC will launch a Kickstarter Campaign on November 1st in support of this new program. 10 contemporary artists will receive fully subsidized studios for one calendar year beginning November 1st. This is an exciting and unexpected addition to the established art scene in Boulder.  Please follow this project and donate in support of this endeavor.
