Fourth Annual Boulder Green Home Tour

The Colorado Green Building Guild, a local non-profit, is proud to present the fourth annual Boulder Green Home Tour. The tour is Saturday, September 29th, 2018, from 10 to 4 p.m., rain or shine. Community members from Boulder and surrounding areas are invited to tour and step inside amazing local green homes.

The purpose of the Boulder Green Home Tour is to highlight some of the most innovative green building projects in Boulder and help promote the collaborative exchange of ideas on green building in our community. We are collaborating with Boulder Housing Partners to donate 10% of our revenues to their local projects.

The self-paced tour will feature eight projects in the Boulder area. These homes are among the greenest in the nation and include new construction, remodels, green neighborhoods, various types of solar, Net Zero Energy homes, a LEED Platinum building, and a rammed earth structure. We are expecting 300 to 400 attendees.

The Mountain Sun Pubs and Breweries Announce 25th Anniversary Celebration, Colorado Kind Festival

A Partnership with Planet Bluegrass, the Two-Day Music Festival will take place on September 14th and 15th. Featuring the String Cheese Incident, the Motet and Yonder Mountain String Band, and many more surprises.

When the Mountain Sun first opened its doors 25 years ago, one of its core values was to give back to the community that supported it. In this spirit, the pub offered free live music once a week, a tradition that still holds true at Mountain Sun pubs today. For its silver jubilee, the Mountain Sun is joining forces with Planet Bluegrass to create a stage for some of the best acts to ever play the pubs.

More than a dozen local businesses, including Planet Bluegrass, Avery, Snooze, the Boulder Weekly, Terrapin Care Station, Left Hand Brewing, and Anthem Branding have all come together to support the Colorado Kind Festival because together we believe non-profit organizations like New Era Colorado need the support of local business to carry on their critical work. Proceeds benefit New Era Colorado.
