DELO in Downtown Louisville Nears Completion
Louisville, CO is regularly ranked among the best places to live in the country and this honor is largely due to its thriving downtown—the heart and soul of the community. DELO, the new mixed-use development just blocks from Main Street in Downtown Louisville, answers that need. The DELO neighborhood extends the downtown Louisville footprint and answers the call for new housing options in the area. This well-conceived community – the brainchild of local developer RMCS, Inc. – is expected to be completed in 2019 and seamlessly integrates boutique living options, restaurants, and retail, office space, and over an acre of parks and open space that gives a nod to the storied history of Louisville.
“Being a Downtown Louisville based company, we are thrilled to be involved in a project that will have such a positive impact on the local community,” said President of Boulder Creek Neighborhoods, David Sinkey. “A low-maintenance home series is a natural fit for DELO because the concept celebrates urban, walkable living.”

Rooftop Revelry in Support of BMOCA
When Eliza Leach, a private wealth advisor, reformed Manhattanite, first joined the board of directors at the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art: BMOCA, she was surprised to see how few young professionals in Boulder County were supporting the arts. “Unlike Denver, New York City, San Francisco, or Chicago, there really aren’t many opportunities for young professionals to get involved with the arts and to network with each other,” said Leach. She teamed up with fellow board members Lauren Roberts, a local corporate attorney, and Devin Patrick Hughes, a local musical director, and conductor, who had similar aspirations to bring cultural art opportunities to young professionals.
Enter Friends With Benefits, a new initiative spearheaded by Leach, Roberts and Hughes to convene professionals from across Boulder in support of BMOCA. Friends With Benefits kicked off their 2018 calendar of events with “A Midsummer’s Night Dream Bash,” an exclusive rooftop cocktail party hosted at Crestone Capital’s Pearl West office this summer. Professionals from a variety of industries enjoyed sunset views of the Flatirons, specialty cocktails and watched a live painting by local artist Will Day.
