The Post Brewing Company’s award-winning beers will be available at liquor stores, restaurants and bars in Denver, Boulder, and the corridor this summer. Howdy Beer and Townie Ale hit shelves in signature 6-pack boxes in mid-August. The Can Release Parties featured $1 POST cans in addition to each restaurant’s respective happy hour menu. There was live music, swag giveaways, free beer samples, and POST can merchandise for sale. The POST’s award-winning Howdy Beer and Townie Ale were the first in cans with Ol’ Zippy Premium American Ale and Meathooks Session Ale following at a later date that is still to be determined. Howdy Beer is a smooth, drinkable All-American Pilsner that weighs in at 4.5 percent ABV. It recently won the Silver Medal for Best American / International Style Pilsner at the Great American Beer Fest 2014. Townie Ale is brewed to a beautiful 6.2 percent ABV with American Malt and loads of American hops. Local Small Business Handcrafts for Local Charities

Lauren and Keith Whittier, founders of TenTables.org, initially launched a large giving campaign back in December 2014, selling a limited edition set of handcrafted farm-style tables made from reclaimed snow fencing from the Western plains. Over the course of the inaugural TenTables campaign they donated $5,000 worth of proceeds from their sales to local and national charities. This summer, a unique set of tables made from 130-year-old Cypress planks from an old horse barn, set atop a handmade steel railroad truss base, is the featured item. This set of 10 tables is only available while supplies last. Ten percent of proceeds from each purchase of an eight-foot dining table, will go directly towards funding outdoor adventures for young adults affected by cancer. The mission of First Descents is to “empower them through conquering legitimate outdoor challenges to push their limits and face their fears.” To learn more about the Old Wood Soul “TenTables” program and their partnership with First Descents, head over to TenTables.org.
